14.10-16.10 Round table “Regulated Private Security Sector – Safer Life of Citizens“
The third round table organized by the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies from Belgrade (CEAS) and the Association for Private Security at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce will open issues such as the role of insurance companies in regulating the private security sector and their impact on the quality of services, the need for standardization of criteria for insurance and the need for training insurance association employees in the field of security management. In addition to this central theme, other issues to be discussed include the question of jurisdiction over training and licensing of private security officers, the capacity of competent institutions to carry out this task and the transfer of jurisdiction to private security companies which have the capability to do the same. The round table is part of the project “Regulated Private Security Sector – Safer Life of Citizens“ which is supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.
